NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

We are hiring approximately 20-30 individuals teens to seniors! Some positions not listed. We have sit and chill to stand and run positions available. Something for everyone!

All hired applicants will be required to attend a mandatory meeting and training on Wednesday, September 28, 2024 5pm. Season runs from September 23, 2023 until October 31, 2023.

If applicable, must obtain a work permit.

Cow Train

Customer service skills and experience are a must.
Experience with children, adult, and special needs is preferred but not required.
Ability to communicate in English, Spanish is helpful.
Ability to learn and enforce attraction rules and facility regulations.
Ability to recognize dangerous situations and handle them appropriately.
Ability to remain calm and stay organized.
Ability to assign seats and assist with seat belts as necessary.
Do safety checks before the Cow Train leaves the station.
Ability to maintain a schedule in a high paced and stressful environment.
Ability to handle difficult situations with professional demeanor.
This position requires standing or walking for extended periods of time.
This is a fast paced position juggling multiple situations simultaneously. If you can hold a conversation with one person, while comprehending a second side conversation - you’re my person!
All shifts Sunday through Saturday.
Must be available for a consistent schedule.
Ideal candidates will be highly organized, have ability to multitask, professional demeanor in all scenarios, reliable, and ability to be flexible and adapt as things change constantly.

Maze Attendant

This position is a slow-paced work environment.
Takes tokens and admit participants to Maze attraction.
Knowledge/ability to learn attraction and facility rules, regulations, and enforce them.
“Rescue” lost individuals from attraction, as needed.
Communication skills to listen and speak in English. Spanish is helpful. Be attentive and alert to potential dangers and handle accordingly.
Stand or sit in one location for extended periods of time.
Hiring all shifts, Sunday through Saturday.
Must agree and adhere to Dazzler Farms employment guidelines.

Parking Lot Attendant or
Exit Attendant

Fast paced position which includes, walking, lifting and loading pumpkin patch treasures.
Must be able to lift and handle up to 30 lbs and up to 100 + lbs with assistance.
Excellent customer service skills, verbal communications in English and Spanish is helpful, listening skills and the desire and ability to help others (customers and co-workers).
Be able to pull/push wagons with pumpkin patch treasures, load the products into vehicles, and return empty wagons to designated area.
Pick up and dispose of trash (bottles, cans, paper, diapers, etc) from the parking lot, pumpkin patch and other areas of the property.
Observe and assess environment.
Hiring all shifts, Sunday through Saturday. Half or full days.
Exit attendant will help loading, checking receipts, and directing to proper location for large item loading if needed.
Must be confident and outgoing to approach and assist strangers.
Possible conflict resolution if customer is attempting to leave without proper receipt.
Must agree and adhere to Dazzler Farms employment guidelines.

First Aid/Medical

First Aid and CPR certified, experience preferred. Minimum 2 years in a paid or volunteer capacity utilizing skills.
Applicants will be required to fill in at other positions as time permits.
Hiring all shifts Sunday through Saturday.
Must agree and adhere to Dazzler Farms employment guidelines.

FACE PAINTERS

Provide own professional grade paints and equipment.
Be insured (can help with this)
Available MOST/ALL Saturdays and Sundays in October.
Ideal candidate will be flexible, friendly, and outgoing.
Good with children and their caregivers. Okay in public group setting.
Must agree and adhere to Dazzler Farms employment guidelines.

****Hiring 1-2 part-time painters. Shifts are 4-6 hours long between 10 am and 7 pm Saturdays and Sundays in October. about 4-8 shifts per month.

Sanitization

Stock and clean restrooms, knowledge or ability to learn proper handling and usage of cleaning supplies.
Pick up trash around Pumpkin Patch restrooms and grounds.
Empty trash cans, recycling, and properly dispose.
Clean and Sanitize tables and other areas as directed.
Refill hand sanitizer and soap dispensers, paper towels, and other items as directed.
Positive attitude a must.
Experience helpful, but not required.
Will be required to help out in other positions as directed.
Hiring all shifts Sunday through Saturday. Must be available at least 2 days per week on a consistent schedule.
Must agree and adhere to Dazzler Farms employment guidelines.

Event Host/Hostess

Host/ess position is working directly with the public as the primary contact for event, i.e, birthday party or corporate event.
Experience with children is a must. Minimum 2 years.
Must be available every Saturday & Sunday from 9 am until 8 pm (see #4) and prefer (not required) some weekday mornings from 8:30 am until 1 pm.
Will consider 2 people for half shifts or split weekends.
Assist with other positions as directed.
Other hours may be available, working other pumpkin patch position, if desired.
Direct party guest to activities, keeping the event on schedule.
Host/ess will be polite, a good listener, able to follow direction from supervisor and client. Be able to communicate in English. Speaking other languages, i.e., Spanish is helpful.
Excellent customer service skills with outgoing personality a must.
Must agree and adhere to Dazzler Farms employment guidelines.

Bounce House Attendant

Experience with children is a must.
Provide excellent customer service.
Organize participants into groups of bouncers.
Ability to follow a schedule and directions.
Ability to manage a line of both children and adults.
Knowledge to learn and ability to enforce attraction rules and regulations of the facility.
Ability to verbally communicate in English.
Ability to follow directions and a schedule
All Shifts Saturday & Sunday. Some weekday hours may be requested or offered if desired.
Must agree and adhere to DazzlerFarms employment guidelines.

Greeter/Attraction Attendant

Do you like meeting new people and seeing old friends? We need people to greet our guests and help them learn about our pumpkin patch.
Be able to sit or stand outside for extended periods of time.
Some positions require other small tasks.
Greeters will be asked to help out at attractions to meet customer need.
Greeters may be required to check customer receipts upon exit.
Must be confident and outgoing.
Must agree and adhere to Dazzler Farms employment guidelines.

DazzlerFarms Employment Standards

Applies to ALL POSITIONS

No mobile phone usage during shift. Portable communication devices will be provided for use during shift, as needed.
Ability to follow safety practices.
Be alert to surroundings. See something dangerous, say something to supervisor.
All employees responsible for the cleanliness of their area, including but not limited to cleaning equipment, trash, etc.
Workers 14 through 17, must have a valid work permit prior to starting.
All employees must fill out pre-employment paperwork as applicable by law.
Be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.
Reliable transportation a must.
English required, Spanish or other languages helpful.
